SCAQMD Update Expected for Asbestos Regulations for Renovations and Demolition
South Coast Air Quality Management (SCAQMD) District Rule 1403 sets forth regulations related to the removal and disposal of asbestos for demolition and renovation activities, as well as operations of building owners (both commercial and residential, with some exceptions for residences).

California businesses and municipalities need to be aware of Senate Bill 205 (Hertzberg). The bill was introduced on February 04, 2019 and is currently going through the review/amendment process.
Leveraging Funding Resources Through Grants Programs
There is a great need in every government institution and community to implement many programs and projects with limited financial resources. In this environment, tribes, local governments, utilities and agricultural organizations need to operate as efficiently as possible, as well as pursue all appropriate sources of additional funding. Often these organizations lack the personnel to research and prepare grant applications.
Grace and Shayna will be with us through the end of summer, at which point Grace will return to University of Notre Dame to finish her degree in Environmental Engineering and Shayna will start her third year at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo.
