Alta Environmental is pleased to announce that Jacqueline McMillen has joined Alta as a Project Manager/Senior Consultant. She is a Registered Professional Civil Engineer in the State of California with more than 7 years of experience in the environmental field. Jacqueline received her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois and entered the environmental consulting field shortly after graduation, working as a staff engineer on landfill gas recovery systems, storm water conveyance and retention systems, and landfill final covers.
More recently, Jacqueline has specialized in permitting and development of municipal solid waste facilities and alternative energy projects, including preparation of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, facility plans, site plans, Odor Management Plans, obtaining AQMD permits and supporting public hearings. She has also provided support for long-range planning projects for Los Angeles and Orange Counties, reviewing the existing municipal solid waste management marketplace and evaluating proposed project feasibility.
