![]() Alta Environmental is pleased to announce that Jacqueline McMillen has joined Alta as a Project Manager/Senior Consultant. Jacqueline brings a broad background of experience to Alta, having worked with municipal and industrial clients on land use planning projects and regulatory compliance issues such as air quality, storm water reporting, and BMP implementation. She is a Registered Professional Civil Engineer in the State of California with more than 7 years of experience in the environmental field. Jacqueline received her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois and entered the environmental consulting field shortly after graduation, working as a staff engineer on landfill gas recovery systems, storm water conveyance and retention systems, and landfill final covers. More recently, Jacqueline has specialized in permitting and development of municipal solid waste facilities and alternative energy projects, including preparation of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, facility plans, site plans, Odor Management Plans, obtaining AQMD permits and supporting public hearings. She has also provided support for long-range planning projects for Los Angeles and Orange Counties, reviewing the existing municipal solid waste management marketplace and evaluating proposed project feasibility. Her areas of expertise include environmental permitting, storm water compliance and reporting, and storm water drainage analyses. Jacqueline joins Alta’s growing Water Resources team in the Long Beach office to provide additional expertise and leadership for our clients in Southern California. Our Water Resources Services continue to grow as our clients face operational, facility and compliance challenges related to the drought, water use restrictions, and new storm water regulations.
