Scott Nunes, Senior Project Manager
Scott Nunes joins Alta as a Senior Project Manager with 30 years of experience managing and developing building science and site assessment and remediation projects throughout his career. He is experienced in asbestos, lead, indoor air quality, Phase I and II site assessments, and abatement projects. Scott is focused on serving our development, education, and agency clients in the Inland Empire and Orange County. He is a Cal OSHA Certified Asbestos Consultant, CaDPH Certified Lead Consultant, and has his BA in Environmental Science from UCLA.
Bob Pilzer, Senior Project Manager Bob Pilzer joins Alta as a Senior Project Manager with over 23 years of experience in the environmental health and safety field. He has extensive experience in managing and conducting asbestos, lead, and hazardous materials surveys and abatement monitoring, asbestos and lead training, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Transaction Screen Assessments (TSAs), microbial investigations, indoor air quality (IAQ) assessments, industrial hygiene assessments, and storm water sampling. He has also assisted in performing Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), seismic evaluations, and Phase II subsurface investigations. He holds a BA degree from the University of Pittsburg and numerous certifications and accreditations in his field of expertise.
Mehak Gupta, Environmental Specialist
Mehak Gupta joins Alta as an Environmental Specialist.Mehak graduated in 2018 from UC Irvine with her Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and has recently completed her EIT.She holds her Bachelor of Science in Biochemical Engineering.Prior to joining Alta she worked at UC Irvine as a graduate teaching assistant and peer mentor.
Yasaman Azarhoushang, Environmental Specialist
Yasaman Azarhoushang joins Alta as and Environmental Specialist.Yasaman graduated in 2017 from USC with her Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. While at USC she was awarded the Viterbi School of Engineering Academic Achievement Award. Prior to joining Alta she worked at both the US Green Chamber of Commerce where she created content for an online climate change certification program and at an environmental consultancy where she worked on a marketing and outreach program for the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Sustainability.
Randolph Flores, Industrial Hygiene Specialist I
Randy Flores has 8 years of experience working in the environmental industry conducting surveys and providing abatement oversight. He has also provided 3rd party oversight for DTSC and SCAQMD on soil remediation oversight, soil sampling and air monitoring.
Carbany Becerril, Industrial Hygiene Specialist I Carbany has 2 years of experience in the environmental industry as an asbestos abatement supervisor. He is obtaining his CSST and supporting asbestos surveys, oversight, lead sampling, and other industrial hygiene monitoring.
Bridgette Reddington, Intern Bridgette Reddington is from San Clemente and is currently a student at the University of San Diego. She will be graduating in December 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a minor in Economics. She has worked and interned throughout her time at USD, including an internship at the campus Office of Sustainability.She is Vice President of the USD Alcala Club. She also actively volunteers in various humanitarian efforts, including having traveled to Peru over a school break to assist a local parish with social work, building homes, and teaching children.
Matthew Grauslys, Intern Matthew is from New Hampshire and a junior at the University of Notre Dame majoring in environmental engineering. He is also a student athlete who has developed a strong sense of time management and discipline associated with the dedication required to be a member of the men’s swim team. The years of dedication and commitment are evidenced by his achievement as a 2016 US Olympic Trials Qualifier and having placed 7th at the 2016 US Open.
