Alta Environmental is pleased to announce that the California Air Resources Board (CARB) has certified Alta as an accredited Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Verification Body. Alta is now fully authorized to provide third-party GHG emissions verification services for facilities that are required to report due to the mandatory GHG emissions reporting rules under the California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 (AB32). To meet the requirements Alta had to demonstrate subject matter expertise, including having two accredited Lead Verifiers on staff, and meet rigorous organizational standards related to corporate governance, insurance and administrative policies. We are proud to join the limited group of organizations that qualify for this accreditation and are pleased to be recognized by CARB as experts in the area of GHG emissions accounting and calculation methodologies.
