EH&S Associate Consultant Alta is growing the EHS Team with the addition of a dynamic EH&S Associate Consultant. The ideal candidate will work on various Environmental Health & Safety compliance projects autonomously and under supervision of a Senior Consultant. The candidate must be willing to develop a thorough working knowledge of multimedia Environmental, Health and Safety compliance. Key Responsibilities will include California EH&S regulatory compliance audits, Water Quality Management Plans, Industrial and Construction Storm Water Compliance, SCAQMD/CARB Regulatory Support, Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) reporting, Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP) & California Environmental Reporting System, Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Industrial Hygiene assessments, Health & Safety policies, Hazardous waste minimization, and Provide training for the management of hazardous waste and materials. Preferred candidates will should have BS or MR degree in environmental science, engineering, industrial hygiene or geologic sciences, 3-5 years of experience and OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification preferred. SAR Associate Consultant Alta is growing our Site Assessment and Remediation (SA&R) Team with the addition of a dynamic Associate Consultant. The ideal candidate will work on various projects autonomously and under supervision of a Senior Consultant. The selected candidate will provide services in the following areas: contaminated site assessment/remediation; hydrogeology; and environmental risk management. Key Responsibilities will include Soil and groundwater sampling, Groundwater flow and hydrogeological data evaluation, Chemical data and contaminant fate and transport evaluation, Well installation, aquifer testing, and groundwater monitoring, Groundwater and soil remediation evaluation, cost estimating, design and implementation, Environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance services, and permit acquisition. Preferred candidates will have Bachelor’s degree in earth science (geology or hydrogeology) or chemical/civil/environmental engineering, 2 – 5 years of experience in site assessment and remediation, OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification preferred.
