Alta is Hiring – Environmental Engineer Intern

8/9/2017

We are seeking a college undergraduate or graduate student to join our team of environmental engineers and scientists as an Intern for approximately 16-25 hours each week in our Long Beach office.

Alta Environmental is growing a different kind of consulting firm – a firm of dynamic, motivated, and entrepreneurial technical experts. Alta is known for anticipating and resolving sustainability, compliance, remediation and restoration needs for the most significant industrial businesses and agency sector organizations. We are the best and brightest, a team of technical and scientific leaders and innovators who keep ahead of trends and requirements. Our experts are trusted advisors to clients across many industries and sectors. We help our clients obtain and maintain compliance with federal, state and local environmental regulations; and we specialize in the complex California regulatory agencies’ requirements. Our work makes businesses and communities cleaner, stronger, and safer.
You will experience all aspects of our business at Alta while supporting us in serving the most important clients in the region on projects that matter. You will get an opportunity to work across all of our service lines from air quality to water resources to site assessment and remediation to environmental health and safety to building sciences. You’ll be working with smart and dedicated people who work hard but like to have fun. At Alta there’s plenty of opportunity to increase your skills and share your ideas. And, probably most importantly, we do important work in a business that continues to expand and grow – which means you can develop strong technical expertise, expand your existing skills, learn from top experts in the business, and grow your career with us! If that matches what you are looking for… we want to hear from you!

Alta is proud to be a 2017 Zweig Group Best Firms To Work For. Alta was named in the top 5 Best Firms to Work For by Zweig. An award which recognizes the top architecture, structural engineering, civil engineering, environmental, geotechnical engineering, landscape architecture/planning, and multidiscipline firms in the US and Canada based on their workplace practices, employee benefits, employee retention rates, and much more.
