Alta Environmental (Alta) is pleased to announce that Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) has selected Alta for a three year, As-Needed Professional Environmental, Technical and Expert Consulting Services master services agreement which commenced on July 1, 2013. Through a rigorous and competitive process, LAWA selected Alta and three other firms to provide environmental services in support of the airports daily operations as well as specific, large capital projects including Bradley West Project, Taxiway S, In-Line Baggage Screening, Central Utility Plant (CUP) Replacement, leasehold inspection and mitigation and air quality permitting.

Environmental services provided under this agreement, with approval limits of up to US $5M, encompass a broad range of specialties including air quality, water quality, hazardous materials and waste management, site assessments, environmental mitigation projects, sustainability, environmental management systems, wildlife and biological resources management, noise management, sound insulation grant management, facilities engineering and planning CEQA/NE PA support. Alta’s in-house team of environmental health, safety and compliance experts will be supported by a highly vetted and experienced team of specialists,including our key team members C&S Engineers, Inc., Entomological Consulting Services, Ltd., Environmental Science Associates, ETIC Engineering, Lion CSGand PBS Engineering.
