![]() Alta Environmental has a strong track record working with our clients on environmental challenges in real estate, construction and demolition projects. Hot on the heels of our successful work on the Wilshire Grand Hotel demolition project in Downtown Los Angeles, Alta’s team has been hard at work on another major project involving an iconic landmark, this time the demolition of the former Robinson May department store building at 9900 Wilshire Boulevard, in Beverly Hills. Alta’s team has been performing air and environmental monitoring assessments, and environmental oversight for the demolition contractors during the pre-demolition and active demolition phases. Working with a variety of environmental contractors, Alta’s team has also assisted in performing an in-place underground storage tank (UST) abandonment procedure. The team’s technical prowess and years of hands-on experience ensures that our clients avoid costly delays during the demolition and construction process.
