Alta Environmental is pleased to welcome Matthew Renaud to our Water Resources Group as a Senior Consultant /Project Manager. Matt is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC); Certified Erosion, Sediment, and Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI); Qualified SWPPP Developer/Practitioner (QSD/P); and Qualified Industrial Stormwater Practicitioner (QISP). Matt graduated from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse with a BS in Environmental Studies. Matt began his career in the environmental consulting field 15 years ago and has worked in both the private consulting field and most recently in the public sector at Los Angeles World Airports. He has extensive experience implementing and overseeing many Construction General Permit compliance programs and has written numerous Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans throughout California. His background spans from site remediation (groundwater, sediment, soil, surface water testing) to storm water regulation compliance. Additionally, he was part of the team implementing the Industrial General Permit at Los Angeles International Airport, Van Nuys Airport, and Ontario Airport.
Matt enjoys working with clients to develop cost effective and efficient project storm water compliance strategies. His skills in project management include defining the appropriate project specific compliance approach which delivers the best compliance outcomes with the least amount of resources.
The addition of Matt to the Alta Water Resources Team provides depth and leadership in both construction and industrial storm water compliance for our clients throughout California. Alta’s services continue to grow as our clients face transactional, operational, facility, and compliance challenges related to both their own growth, as well as, existing and new regulatory challenges.
