Meet Alta's Newest Intern – Carolina Villacis

Alta’s newest intern, Carolina Villacis, is working part-time while currently finishing her final year at UCLA where she is pursuing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Environmental Engineering with an expected graduation date of June 2017. Prior to joining Alta, Carolina worked in a part time position at the Long Beach Water Department managing water quality issues. She is EMT Certified and fluent in English, Spanish, and Japanese, with some proficiency in French.  ​

​Carolina has been an active member of organizations, including Engineers Without Borders, UCLA Sustainable Action Research, and The American Society of Civil Engineers. As an intern at Alta she is providing technical assistance across all of our service offerings.
