Tim Klein, Project Manager
Alta welcomes Tim Klein to our Water Resources Team as a Project Manager. Tim holds a BS in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland, has a QSD/P certification from the State of California, and a Construction Health and Safety Technician certification.
He began working in the environmental industry over 14 years ago and has worked for consulting firms, construction managers and as an environmental inspector for the City of Washington, DC. He specializes in storm water management, and has experience in low impact development, environmental site assessments, visual impact studies, noise monitoring and construction safety.
Tim has successfully managed the storm water permitting for wide variety of commercial, residential, education, and military construction sites throughout California. He has managed and worked at several high-profile project locations such as the MV-22 Hanger and Wounded Warrior Center on Camp Pendleton, Los Colinas Detention Facility in Santee, Zura Hall at SDSU, and Sage Creek High School in Carlsbad.
Diana Nguyen, Environmental Health & Safety Associate
Diana Nguyen joins Alta as an EHS Associate. Diana graduated in June 2018 from UCLA with her Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Sciences with a concentration in Industrial Hygiene and holds a Bachelor of Science in Earth System Science from UC Irvine. Prior to joining Alta, Diana worked at the Los Angeles City Fire Department CUPA where she inspected hazardous materials facilities and trained businesses on CERS reporting requirements. She has experience with Industrial Hygiene assessment and monitoring and OSHA regulations.
