Alta provides As-Needed Professional Environmental, Technical and Expert Consulting Services under a master services agreement to Los Angeles World Airports. Los Angeles World Airports include LAX and Van Nuys Airport and serves the 2nd largest metropolitan region in the United States. Alta’s work for LAWA has been to provide environmental services in support of the airports daily operations, as well as, large capital projects. Our services under this agreement, with a limit of up to $3M US, have encompassed a broad range of specialties including water quality, storm water, hazardous materials and waste management, site assessments, environmental mitigation projects, sustainability, environmental management, wildlife and biological resources management, noise management, air quality, sound insulation grant management, environmental training, facilities engineering, and planning CEQA/NEPA support.
